The relevant DVGW bodies, which define technical conditions, for example for gas transmission, ensure that high safety levels are maintained in the future. The generally accepted technical standards issued by the DVGW are a firm foundation for the development of the gas industry and for confidence on the part of legislators and the public in the safety of public gas supply systems.
