European Forum Gas
The European Forum Gas (EFG) - the first event was initiated by the DVGW and held in Munich in 2003. Now it is organized under the umbrella of Marcogaz and GERG and supplemented by the European GAs Technology Conference (EGATEC): both are bringing together representatives of organizations, gas companies, industry, the installation trade and pipeline construction contractors from the whole of Europe. Experts take part in practical international discussions concerning the gas engineering in a smart energy market, the needed of technical innovation and related safety aspects in a united Europe. The participants also include representatives of major European organizations.
EGATEC 2015 – European Gas Technology Conference in Retrospect (Vienna – November 2015)
This conference has been successfully organised by the Austrian association ÖVGW, along with Marcogaz and GERG, as all topics set to gather momentum in the forthcoming years were presented and discussed.
Innovative technologies, power-to-gas, security of supply, gas quality, biogas, hybrid appliances for the domestic sector and particularly the LNG issue, which had been the main focus at the past IGU conference (Paris – June 2015), offered the participants a comprehensive overview of the activities that will be crucial for the gas industry in the future.
