We maintain numerous and sometimes long-standing partnerships at both the national and international level. While these partnerships ensure the mutual exchange of experience, they yield convincing results to the benefit of DVGW members and citizens alike through our technical and committee work. National partnerships:

German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste

(DWA Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall, Hennef)

Both associations have been cultivating a long-standing co-operation in the field of further education, and an on-going exchange of experience, discussing subjects of mutual interest and co-ordinating their work in overlapping areas that require a set of rules. The agreement to address jointly the 'water table' working area is one example illustrating this point.

Federal Association of the German Energy and Water Industries

(BDEW Bundesverband der deutschen Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft, Berlin)

Our long-standing co-operation with the BDEW includes, inter aliaq, annual discussion meetings on gas- and water-related issues, press conferences and certain committees, for instance.

Federal Association of Gas and Water Companies/Association of Pipework Constructors

(FIGAWA/rbv Bundesvereinigung der Firmen im Gas- und Wasserfach/Rohrleitungsbauverband, Cologne)

Within the DVGW, FIGAWA and the corporately integrated rbv represent the industry and construction industry, respectively. With their technical know-how and practical experience these partners actively influence the Technical Rules, which they also help to disseminate.
