    DVGW congress

Once in a year, DVGW host the most significant conferences in Germany's gas and water section: the DVGW congress, formerly known as gat | wat. It is the information hub for all innovation and technology topics related to gas, hydrogen and drinking water. It is also Germany's largest trade fair for gas and water technologies. Over 100 speakers from the energy and water sector shed light on the progress they are making towards a climate-neutral future. Current challenges and possible solutions will be discussed with politicians, industry and researchers. Numerous networking opportunities will provide an opportunity for in-depth dialogue.

In addition to the traditional congress, new talk formats enrich the professional discussion. Online specialist forums supplement the face-to-face format in the run-up to the conference.

The DVGW Congress is based on a long tradition: The gas conference gat was first held in 1962, its counterpart in the water sector, the wat, in 1948, by DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches, Bonn. The DVGW Congress is held annually in Cologne or Berlin.
