The Roadmap 2030 highlights requirements and challenges that our water industry will face in the long term. It considers societal, political and technological changes and describes priority measures that are needed to adapt and safeguard the future of water management. The Water Management Roadmap 2030 is directed towards diverse stakeholders working within water and wastewater companies, governmental institutions, industrial and agricultural sectors as well as the wider water management community.
It was developed as part of the DVGW Water Innovation Programme (DVGW-Zukunftsprogramm Wasser) by DVGW and the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA).
